According to our rules, the following must be checked:

SAFETY

Approved 5-point harness with 2″ belts min., no more than 10 years old from date of manufacturing. Must be replaced if weathered or frayed at any age.
Snell approved helmet. SA2010 minimum rating.
Approved fire suit and gloves.
Approved arm restraint is mandatory for open-roof cars.
Quick release steering wheel is mandatory.
Battery on/off mounted within driver’s reach.
Drive shaft loop on drive shaft mandatory.
Aluminum race seats only.
Approved racing fuel cells only.
Scatter shield mandatory must provide 180 degrees of protection 1/8” steel min.. or 3/16 aluminum. Not required on cars with Ram Coupler. Scatter Blanket accepted.
Cotter pins or lock nuts on all steering components.
All sheet metal fastened by pop rivets, duzus fasteners or bolts and nuts. (Not screws)
Proper padding to the cage where the helmet can contact, sharp edges eliminated.
Bright reflective tape on the back of all car’s min 24”
Bunge cords, Zip ties, and duct tape not allowed as only means of holding the car together…..fix it properly or park it! Quick fix not considered race-ready!
2 throttle return springs are mandatory. 2 added to any stock carb springs.
Head and Neck restraints are recommended.
